Part-Time Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic
Minimum Requirements:
- Indiana or IFSAC Firefighter I & II certifications
- Indiana EMT-B, EMT-P or NREMT certification with the ability to obtain Indiana reciprocity
- Valid AHA BLS Provider card *ACLS & PALS required for paramedic applicants*
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work 12- and 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Part-Time Single-Role Paramedic
Minimum Requirements:
- Indiana Paramedic license or NREMT-Paramedic certification with ability to obtain Indiana reciprocity
- Current AHA BLS Provider, ACLS and PALS certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work 12- and 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Volunteer Firefighter
Minimum Requirements:
- Must live within a reasonable distance of one of our three stations (10 minutes):
- Station 1: 23759 Brightwood Drive, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025
- Station 2: 21466 State Line Road, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025
- Station 3: 25991 Unity Drive, West Harrison, IN 47060
- Ability to perform the physical demands of firefighting
- Willingness and ability to attend Firefighter I/II training and obtain Indiana certification within a reasonable timeframe (training expenses covered by the department)
