Part-Time Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic

Minimum Requirements:

     

      • Indiana or IFSAC Firefighter I & II certifications

      • Indiana EMT-B, EMT-P or NREMT certification with the ability to obtain Indiana reciprocity

      • Valid AHA BLS Provider card *ACLS & PALS required for paramedic applicants*

      • Valid driver’s license

      • Ability to work 12- and 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

    Part-Time Single-Role Paramedic

    Minimum Requirements:

       

        • Indiana Paramedic license or NREMT-Paramedic certification with ability to obtain Indiana reciprocity

        • Current AHA BLS Provider, ACLS and PALS certifications

        • Valid driver’s license

        • Ability to work 12- and 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

      Volunteer Firefighter

      Minimum Requirements:

         

          • Must live within a reasonable distance of one of our three stations (10 minutes):

               

                • Station 1: 23759 Brightwood Drive, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025

                • Station 2: 21466 State Line Road, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025

                • Station 3: 25991 Unity Drive, West Harrison, IN 47060

            • Ability to perform the physical demands of firefighting

            • Willingness and ability to attend Firefighter I/II training and obtain Indiana certification within a reasonable timeframe (training expenses covered by the department)
