

FIRE CHIEF
Chief Kendall Eberhart began his fire service career in 2011 when he joined the Bright Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter. Shortly after joining, he obtained his EMT-Basic certification and began serving the community as a part-time EMT. His dedication and passion for the fire service led him to a full-time role as a Firefighter/EMT with the department.
Over the years, Chief Eberhart has served in a variety of leadership roles, including President, Lieutenant, Station Captain, and Operations Captain, before being promoted to Fire Chief in 2023. His broad experience across operational and administrative functions has played a key role in the department’s continued growth and success.
In addition to holding Firefighter I & II and EMT-Basic certifications, Chief Eberhart is a certified Fire Instructor, Rope Rescue Technician, and Ice Rescue Technician. He has also completed extensive training in leadership and fire ground operations.
Chief Eberhart lives in the Bright community with his wife and two children. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to service, safety, and continuous improvement for both the department and the community it serves.
